Pre-Requirements
  • Capisuite installed and running
    •  >=0.4.3 recommend
    • sox (12.17.4 recommend), sfftobmp, gs are needed if you want to up/download files in non CAPI-formats, as described in the capisuite documentation.
  • Webmin installed and running
  • Python >=2.2 (tested on 2.2.1, 2.3 recommend) installed and running

Install Steps (using: SuSE Linux 9.0 Server / Firefox browser)

[A]  Check for Usermin:

> Go to the Webmin site of your CapiSuite computer and go to the Webmin category
(see Picture 1).
> Now check if Usermin is installed, by clicking on "Usermin Configuration" (s. Picture 1)
> > If it is not installed, Webmin will show an install button for Usermin. (on most systems, if not, got to www.usermin.com to download and install it.

[B]  Install Python-Webmin RPM:

> Go to the System category of Webmin (s. Picture 1 "System" Icon / upper left )

> Click on the "Software Packages" Module (s. Picture 2)

> Now open a new browser window and copy the link to the latest python-webmin rpm from the capimin site. Alternatively you can also download the rpm and install it from a local source.

 > In the section "Install a New Package" select the http download option and copy/enter the rpm location into the text field (s. Picture 3)

> Then press "Install" and the python-webmin rpm will be installed
